Hey there,

Its been a LONG time since I wrote but I am here and I’m still wanting to lose weight. I was trying to be on the plan without going to meetings but I have since realized that that doesnt work so last week, I officially joined WW and I can already see the difference. I don’t know about the weight but I definitely think that there is just something about meetings that keeps me more accountable…more on track and etools is fabulous for tracking and basic tips! I’m excited to be back on track and I’m posting my daily updates on my other blog at blogspot. 

So please check it out and please please leave a comment…I am desperately trying to build up my blogroll again since I deleted the other blog and have no records of who I used to follow along w/! I would love to hear from you and good luck to everyone on the journeys…Here’s to an amazing, on plan upcoming weekend!

Crock Pot!!!

I bought a crock pot! I bought it so that I can use it once I move away from home, back to school. At school I dont have access to a stove or really any semblance of a kitchen. I thought if I added this to my daily visits to the cafetaria maybe, just maybe I can eat healthy. At least this way, I can have one meal a day or a couple of meals a week of dishes where I know what goes into them and the rest of the time, I can manage :( on cafetaria food. ack. So scared to go back and see food that has grease as a key ingredient and portion sizes that are three times normal. So anyone thats a crock pot connoisseur and is dying to give me good recipes? :)

I have no idea what the name of my alter ego is lol but this is what I came up playing w/ the site…I need to get my butt crackin on the barbie brigade ;)

Oh and I just figured out that my links showed up in light white on the screen so no one can actually see them? Way to go me!

I Can’t wait…

For school to start up again…yes, seriously! I can’t believe I’m actually saying this but atleast I wont be around great food at home all the time and at least I’ll have some sort of a routine…I know, I’m supposed to be upbeat about all of this but seriously, I’m mad at myself for staying off plan everyday for the past few days! Tomm is a new day…happy friday, sat, sun folks! Enjoy your weekend and drink your water :)

TGIF

Hmm, so not much going on today except that I’m still a bit slammed at work but it should work itself out…I went out with a couple of friends last night (yes, more points) and just walked around, got some drinks and just chatted as we walked around a lake…it was so fantastic! It’s been a while since I’ve been out (see: work) and I’ve just missed it so much…but we did do 4 rounds around the lake, slow yes but still moving so mebbe thats atleast 1 point? lol, I can hope! Well I’m off to the gym RIGHT NOW so I dont have any excuses to put it off and then I’m off to school for a bit. I have folks coming over for dinner tonight but its potluck so nothing too big, just a chill friday night. I’ll update later on food!

OH and I see this whole barbie mania running amongst the blogs but I havent had a chance to stop by steph’s blog and get it all in so I will catch up sometime today, promise promise.

check out some of the worlds strangest statues…I thought some of them were pretty hilarious/neat!

P.S. I have lion king stuck in my head (the I cant wait to be king song)…why? you ask…ur guess would be as good as mine.

Self-sabotage

So lately (see todays menu below) I’ve been on this super self sabotaging kick…not intentionally of course, I’m not that messed up but unintentionally I have been on this put myself last and everything else first kick and I cant honestly look you in the eye and say that I didnt have time…I did have time, I just didnt wanna…Ever feel like you JUST DONT WANNA? Its weird…this had happened to me in the past and I never believed in that whole self psychoanalysis stuff but I’m starting to think theres some truth to this…everytime I lose some weight (even a little bit like 6 lbs) I go into this kick of lets see how long I can push this–sorta like, why is this good thing happening to me? This can’t really be happening? I mean, of course I dont sit there and intentionally think all this but the end result is the same: I end up eating wayy too much! Tell me, do you think we just sabotage ourselves?
Okay, end rant/psychoanalysis…just a thought that occurred to me!

I’m bored

Someone come rescue me! I’m just sitting here bored out of my mind…I’ve read blogs, tried to surf the net to find something interesting to read, pretended to do my work but nada i’m bored and my productivity is down the drain!…mebbe I’ll go watch a mid afternoon movie? Yea, I think thats what I’ll do! Be back in a bit…heres the menu so far -_- my choices suck.

Haha does the fact that I was out of points by 4:00 today keep me from the kitchen…hahaha no sireee…I’d like to see YOU try and put up a barrier between me and my food! Humph! :(
